Brunhild and fredigan were doing what was considered acceptable for merovingian royals of the time period. So they're essentially participating in violence that is entirely customary. And it's cast as a cat fight because i think it's easier to laugh at it, in some ways, and say, oh, if we no kind of fear the power of women, look what happens when you put two women in charge.
