Are You Creating a Social Problem?
I think it's dangerous if a lot of people start to believe that their only hope of contributing to society is, you know, this cut off. And so one thing that we're looking at is the way in which success depends on making a lot attempts. If women are expected to get married earlier, if their careers are considered pretty secondary, then what might end up happening is that there's just less tolerance for failure in the family for women. I guess i'm pushing on two different friends. One i'm trying to learn more about this really opaque institution.
