What's the Difference Between True Crime and History?

There was some debate here in the office about whether these true crime things are actually history. I think if anyone's trying to kind of skive off true crime as its own separate thing, you cannot do that without talking about history because both these procedure is similar to how historians investigate the Pava past. Of course it's right to see there was history. We've always found serial killers terrifying and been drawn to the stories because they are such aberrations. And the thought of Dr. Kie gets way too distressing.
