Jiang Chingliang's Story

On Christmas Day, 1936, Jiang Chingliang left Xian with his entourage. The General Isamo had tried to get his son back, but any attempts had led nowhere. Joe took Jiang for his word, and a private meeting later on when Joe was alone with TV Song and Songmei Ling, they asked him how they could find him in Shanghai. He told them they could always find him through their sister, Song Ching Ling. In all these grandiose pronouncements were made at the top most level, problems remained with the implementation.
