Iron Counsel - Was It an Abandonment of the Jone Tradition?

I don't think that's what alienated most readers. I think it was to do with the sentences. Sometimes you want to either write or read sentences which ask quite an active act of interpretation. And you don't want to read that all the time. But i suspect that the main reason that that book alienated some readers is that a is written in a kind of, mostly in a fairly highly unnaturalistic style.
