Argin was someone who felt he'd paid his dues and wouldn't have someone else tell him what to do, especially a woman. When one day Joyce asked Argin to improve his job performance with the accounts he was handling, he began shouting at Joyce from across the office. In early 1987, Argin convened a family meeting which included his daughter Sheila and her husband Dennis.
