The Effects of Aircraft Exhaust on the Environment
The Environmental Protection Agency estimates that about 3.5% of man-made climate change is the result of aviation. The carbon dioxide released by aircrafts stays in the atmosphere where it reflects the sun's rays, causing the Earth's surface to warm up. Contrels are essentially trapped in the upper levels of the atmosphere, so they pose no threat to human health at all.
