The Importance of Free Market Principles in Japan
Japan has not seen worker wages rise for nearly 30 years now. The country is a big free trading nation, massively integrated into all those industries. It exports as a percentage of GDP far more than US. They've stuck to these free market principles, and free markets are naturally deflationary. Japanese banks have lows and lows of deposits; they don't see the deposit outflow that you've seen in US banks. I like Japanese banks because I actually want to buy Japanese land.
