Karen Telesky is a legal historian who focuses on social welfare law, equality and civil rights guarantees. She has written about the use of rights language in public benefits programs from the New Deal forward. Now she's working on a book project that looks at the several decades before the ADA. The case involves Health and Hospital Corporation of Marion County, Indiana versus Telesky.
