In my neighborhood, we're renting a town house while we complete a few construction projects. The town houses in this neighborhood were constructed two years ago and sold initially at about 550 thousand dollars. Last year we saw similar units in the area selling in the seven hundreds. A preemptive, all cash, unconditional offer hundred and five thousand above asking was not even advanced to the seller for consideration. Five out of eight buyers are coming from out of town.
