CNN's John Sutter has worked as an AP in Russia, Chile and the U.S. He says his approach to dealing with police is if they don't ask you for something, don't volunteer info. "I could have easily started off by, Hey, officer, look, I have this money," he says of a recent incident at a Chilean casino. 'If it's a amount of money that somebody would be interested in, that is into organized crime, now you become a target,' writes Sutter.
