Cannibalism in the Oval Office Involving a Named Family Member of the President?
The problem with the immunity doctrine, at least as OLC has articulated, is that it doesn't take into account anything about the need of Congress. The President and advisors are absolutely immune for subpoena for testimony about their official duties. So you could imagine a very narrowly drawn subpoena that sort of excludes anything that would be within the President's duties or asks only about things that are necessarily outside what our President should do. That would be the way to kind of get around the doctrine if there were some way to ensure his testimony was not related to his official duties.
