The Underwater Frontier in the Sixties
There was an anticipation, and this again kind of picks up the frontier motif, that the ocean would be a new living space. The idea was that these undersea industries would be a supported by people who lived and worked under sea. And so you see those ginaries kind of developing in relation to one another. Do you think we're largely repeating some of those to day that we've already went through in the fifties and the sixties? Or what if some of the main kind of discourses about the ocean at the moment and how it's being used?
