There are some people who are very much for just sounds to begin talk about how kids will get those things confused and that knowing letter names, they say, confuses them when they're trying to sound out words. Can you speak to your experience with that and any thoughts you have about it? "I know what I have done in last year," she says of teaching the sound and the letter name. 'It hasn't been a problem'
