Is That a Great Example of the Gavapoli System in Action?

I'm wondering if the lack of outrage is reflected in the fact that so many average everyday people via mutual funds and perhaps pensions actually have investments in these many Gavapoli-type companies. The whole economy, our economy is not competitive because we don't allow ourselves to compete with one another anymore,. We're not competitive with other countries. It seems like that in Asia, you can build an 80-story office tower faster than sometimes perhaps you can install a fence in America.
