Everything that used to be simple and straightfor it has now been complicated to a degree. I think axistential struggles have been fundamental to what we are as human beings, and they have probably always been us from day one. But i do think there are some specific traditions, or, like, cultural expect tions that have been deconstructed in our modern times. And i think that that's also something that this film caps us really well. It doesn't just show julie as being flaky because that's her personality trait.
