Brickling and the Coliseum

Bill was one of 20 brick layers to work on the building along with 30 carpenters and other tradesmen and laborers. On Thursday, October 21, 1909, the Coliseum was nearing completion. Bill lost his footing and fell 65 feet to the sidewalk. Just a couple of days before a fellow bricky had fallen to his death from a building two miles away.
