The Prime Minister's Statement on Inflation
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said inflation would halve by the end of the year. But if you take a look at headline inflation in the US, it's now at 3%. So actually, the US's inflation reading has halved in five months. It'll be interesting to see what happens and what Bailey and the MPC members think about this inflation reading. And are they prepared to really say, "This is a turning point. We are going to now be less hawkish?"
