The Importance of Diversity in the Media

This is to some extent a luxury belief it's something that people can go and study if they don't desperately need to go into a form of employment that is going to be well paid. People who have real things to get done in the world very rarely have the time or the patience for sort of abstract theories of structures of power that interact throughout society. And so when the risks of being wrong or low, it's much easier to entertain these kinds of ideas. This is this is a kind of a having these beliefs is sort of a signal that you have the luxury to have these beliefs without having to get into weird explanations about what gives people meaning and life.
