Psychoanalysis - A History of Mental Illness
In the east, originally in the eastern rman empire, they retained these and even developed them further. And so for a time, medical and supernatural accounts of madness co existed uneasily. But then gradually, fourteenth 15, sixteenth centuries, the medical view becomes ever more prminent. Over time, medicine increasingly comes to see mental illnessis rooted in the body and the brain. Even within psychiatry, there is a counter narrative represented most famously by freud.
