What Is the Refugee Ration?
Many refugee families that I've had the opportunity to speak with and work with have not been in a third country of asylum but are actually still in the context of a refugee camp. A typical ration might include iodized salt, fortified vegetable oil, some kind of a cereal depending on the preference of that group. Those commodities really make up especially on the African continent the basic quote refugee ration. It's so so difficult to be a refugee in a refugee camp because you have often very poor nations hosting hundreds of thousands even millions of refugees.
