The Role of the Rur in the Aqul
Soar, both of them have a role to play in what is described as the Aqul, the intellect. In other words, the rur, the soul, which is the naphs, has a connection to both of them. And so there is an effect of it on what you think and an effect on what you feel. So by understanding this, we understood that most of the time the word naphs is used for the soul, most of the times.
