What Is the Doctrine of the Church?
The first time we have that is here in chapter 15, the council of Jerusalem. Paul and Barnabas disagreed so vehemently with each other about whether John Mark should come with them or not. And there was a sharp contention between the two of them so that they separated from each other. Later in council of Constantinople that the father and the son and the Holy Spirit are one divine being in three divine persons. This is so important. God gave us this church and this church can teach us things that God himself didn't reveal through scripture but does reveal through the teaching of the church.
