What's the Story Behind the St. George's Temple?

Baptism for the dead used to be performed in the council house. That was from 18 forty eight to approximately 18 54. Then that was superseded by the endowment house, which was built in the north west corner of the present day temple square. But they did baptisms for the dead there, whereas they didn't do any baptism for the dead in theCouncil house. The saint george temple is the first time we begin to perform ordinances o endowments for the dead. January eleventh, 18 77. S is a moment in church history which shall never be forgotten.
