Is Expansionary Monetary Policy a Necessary Condition for Asset Price Inflation?

I think it seems clear that there's some level of monetary tightening you could do which would you know crash the stock market so at the very least that has to be true. crypto provided an unusually concentrated example of this where we've probably all met crypto enthusiasts or at least people who are crypto curious and they're expecting a big change because of them. I'd encourage people to try to think about how these things are connected to economy wide developments in particular with tech stocks like Uber, Facebook and Apple. The idea that someone smarter than mesomeone with more inside information than me has figured out that crypto is going to be a game changer is really just a psychological expectation.
