The Obelisk in Egypt - The First Comprehensive Restoration

In 20 11, the monument was thrust back into the spotlight when an egyptian official accused the city of neglecting the ancient art work. The dispute led to the first comprehensive restoration of the obelisk - a collaboration between the met museum and the city's parks department. Though the undertaking cost half a million dollars, the central park conservancy considers it money well spent. We don't yet know the dangers that lurk beyond the stars but unfortunately for captain sidney owens and jana prescott, they about to find out.
