Travel and Culture Shock

Culture shock can be really great. It feels like a crazy adventure which sweeps you away. Mark Twain said travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness. St Augustine said the world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page. Samuel Johnson said, all travel has its advantages. If the passenger visits better countries, he may learn to improve his own. And if fortune carries him to worse, he might learn to enjoy it.
