Speculative Markets Are Creating Cash Flows That Are Enriching People
A lot of people who have been swindled but did not pose any sort of economy-wide systemic risk exactly. That's different from the kind of financial crisis we had in 2008 and so then I think it's worth thinking about how is it that some speculative markets like crypto are not wrapped up in the sort of actual production and reproduction of our material life. A lot of the increased value of financial ownership comes from the fact that the companies to which you're buying a share on the stock market have been profitable, he says.
