The Importance of Praying for the President

A number of years ago, a friend was very adamant about not praying for the president. He didn't want to be in that role and wasn't going to pray for him or anyone else. Jesus doesn't give any of us an out when it comes to loving our enemies; he says love your neighbor but hate your enemy.
