How Do We Evaluate Antiquity?

In our modern world, corruption is about using public offices and private gaim. But in antiquity it was so much more fluid - there were lots of different ways to conceptualize corruptions. The project has found such a wide range of definitions in antiquity that we can really get our teeth in to. And what's been more fascinating are modern scholar's responses as they do simple things like describing what's happening on the ground.
