The Future of Silicon Valley

Do you feel like Silicon Valley is still the kind of petri dish that it used to be for finding out what's next? I mean, we've talked about the diversity challenges that that part of the world has. People there see the future a little earlier, but I wonder if they still actually see what will give the after wow as opposed to just what's impressive to the geeks. What I love is meeting so many Europeans who all hate living in Silicon Valley.
