Where would you place the origins of Cornish separateness from the rest of England? Where does it come in? Is it way back into prehistory or is it more to do with Anglo-Saxon settlements. I think there are just multiple, multiple layers to it and Cornwall's earliest major connections would have been by sea. And that really is the origins of Cornwall as it is today.
