Are You Putting the Time in for True Intimacy?

I think that if you care about too many people, it becomes shallow. We only have a certain number of hours in the day and intimacy is a prerequisite for true friendship. I remember in my undergrad days, i went to a birthday party of a girl who had a ton of friends. And there were like forty people in this bar, but she was in the toilets crying because there were another forty people who hadn't shown up. It helps strengthen the friendships which you do invest in, when you're clear that they are your friends. That's a ball claim. Tell me more.
