In jewish marriage ceremonies, the bride encircles the groom seven times to symbolize that they are binding these two people as one, into one unit. It's a prayer and a blessing, but also an aspiration and even an instruction to the young couple. Remember the marriage of adam and eve and try to emulate it. You know what? Every marriage has hiccups. There is tension. They may fight. We have differences of opinion. That's ok. But nevertheless, they showed us what this union is really all about. Adam put it the best way: "It's bone from my bone and flesh. This is part of me"
