The Teamsters' Message on Wages
Talks between UPS and the Teamsters broke down in 1997 over a lot of the same issues. If a strike does happen on August 1st, it wouldn't be the first time. Thousands of UPS workers around the world holding demonstrations today. They want better wages and pensions and stronger safety and health protection.
