The Decision Not to Run for President on the Republican Ticket in 2024

Former Vice President Mike Pence filed paperwork yesterday declaring his candidacy. He is expected to formally announce his White House bid at a rally outside Des Moines, Iowa tomorrow. Also, former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is expected to launch his 2024 presidential bid tonight. The New Hampshire governor, meanwhile, Governor Chris Sonu has announced he will not be running.
