Is There a Difference in Procedure in the Grand Jury Process?
There's zero percent chance Trump will avail himself of the opportunity to go into the grand jury in New york state. He has a right to testify if he wants but he would have to waive immunity because when you testify anyone who testifies in a grand jury gets immunized full transactional immunity. So it has to go to that phase so that's what they're going to do to charge him And for him to testify though But we rarely use that especially in la county They do what are called preliminary hearings where you get to cross-examine the witnesses and everything else.
