How Does the Practice of an Internist Psychiatrist Change?
I think most people figure out how to do both in some capacity or another. I can't say I'm an expert in all of those settings, but the contrast between inpatient and outpatient would be what you might expect. The folks who do outpatient, their schedule is more likely to look like mine where they might do some part of their clinical time is in a psychiatry clinic. And hopefully in the next five, 10 years, at least a good portion of it will be in some kind of integrated care setting.
