The Problem With Scheduled Transactions
YNAB matches scheduled and imported transactions right away. Some of those are variable, so I edit the schedule transaction as soon as I know what that amount is. And then weeks later it fires and it matches automatically. That is like the ultimate gamification moment because it's like not only do they match, but you approve them,. You file those reconciled transactions away and your register is just completely clean.
