In the new millennium, we're all going to have to be savier, more mindful and more attentive to our money than our parents and grandparents were just to keep up. At a staggering cost of 14 billion dollars per year, paying for things you don't know about, don't and don't use is a major financial headaghe for the new millennium. I often think that technology is both a blessing and a curse. Speed and convenience can be helpful here, as these things are supporting our saving and investing efforts. But perhaps when it comes to spending, we purposely slow down.
