My father was born in a place called La Vuff when he was born there before he was born. It had been called Lemberg, now listeners will know it as Le Viv. My grandfather was rich man and he had an ironwork metalworks business. He ends up being sentenced eight years in the Gulag as an antisocial element. And they live in that place for a year because the Molotov-Ribbentrop pack divides Poland into the Germans,. When the Russians invade from the other end, the first reaction of some poles was it come to save us from Nazis.
