When i was at school, it's a little bit this er culture of a hating physics as a course. And often when i talk to people, even i go to the doctor, and they ask me, o, what you do? My professor in physics like, oh, i hated physics. It was my worst subject. But there is a relationship between the attitudes that one encounters in a standard physic seminar and the fact that a statistically high proportion of the theoretical physicists who are involved are men.
