Is There a Third Party in Freud?

The seminar is a corrective of what he sees as other misreadings of Freud, right? Like that's basically what this seminar is trying to do. And so the opponent here is something, what he calls two-body psychology. It's like a variety of people, you're right to say it's there are some ego psychologists that he's attacking. There's also Melanie Klein and people in the object relations line of thinking. He doesn't group them together. But he thinks they share a certain error and that's what this seminars is trying to correct.
