Is There a Return to Violence in Northern Ireland?
There are still renegades on both sides who oppose the peace process. The threat of violence doesn't come from Irish Republicans, it simply comes from British oilists instead. If there are more than 37 Tory MPs who don’t vote for this bill, who vote against it, then that means he was effectively having to run on Labour votes in order to get legislation through. Now, that will cause deep discomfort. I think people are the chief whip and some of the parliamentary advisers to Richie Sint Act because they will know that essentially, Richie Sint is pushing through something his party doesn't support.
