What's the Best Book of All Time?
i think one of the qualities of some of these big books is just literally the amount of time that you spend with them, whether it's weeks or months or even years. And so i think that also plays into some of the reason that they have such a big impact on us. Am east of eden by john steinbeck was another one that came to mind for me, because it has a lot of biblical allusions,. as well as historical scope and a big cast of characters.
