There must have been a certain belief too, strategy-wise, where he said, you know what? I'm going to do really well this way. The extra benefit is also that, you know, clients are going to doreally well. Since I wasn't around when the decision was made over 40 years ago, I can't really speak to what was going on in his mind. Do other firms do this? Yeah, there are a few. Their strategy is different than ours. It's more of a short-term strategy. But they've done similar type things and done well.
