The brand of a group is an expression of their trustworthiness within the criminal system. It's also how law enforcement and defenders and researchers and journalists start to identify these groups rightly or wrongly. And so what we see is that activity follows brand a lot of the time. Once a group like Conti collapses, then those people will reorganize,. re-emerge using parts or all of the infrastructure, parts or allOf the relationships and simply reform into another group that continues operations.
