The History of the Oil Shock
The oil shock played out in different ways. The most obvious of these ways is the massive flow of financial resources from consuming countries to producing countries. That generated on the very short term for the first time after the Second World War Economic Recession. So that's obviously way heavily on the politics of those times and governments of the West reacted in the most various ways with new, multi-rateral organizations such as the International Energy Agency.
