The President's Remedy Is Preserved
The president and his predecessor, Chairman Shafer filed a lawsuit on December 4th contesting the election as they are allowed to do under Georgia law. They were guaranteed a legal hearing within 20 days of that filing. 10 days later, the deadline arrived to submit electoral votes. If those electoral votes had not been submitted, the lawsuit would have been dismissed. The only way to preserve President Trump's remedy was for the electors to meet and cast these votes. It is absolutely ridiculous to suggest that there was anything criminal about sending these alternate electoral votes. But what we are seeing over and over again is the development of a two track justice system, one for people that agree with the current regime in Washington
