Is the Coal Industry on the Way Out?
Coal equities lost 97% of their value when coal had a very big slump 15 years ago. So if coal is on the way out, it is a really good business to get away as far away from coal as possible. A lot of it is sort of moving down the food chain towards private equity, et cetera. But I don't think so, whether you care about the environment or not.
